Buy

Not spending beyond my means … purchasing from trusted merchants that stand behind their products … selecting the highest quality items possible within my price range … finding items that are well-backed, functional, but slightly unusual if possible …

These are the four principles I try to keep in mind when I go to buy something. Though I would hope those who shop on this site do not spend beyond their means, it is not something I can know. As a merchant, however, I can offer a shopping venue that factors in the other three points. Let me elaborate:

Purchasing from a Trusted Merchant: I am an Amazon Associate, and I have affiliations with BeachBody, Dragon Door, and Fitness Anywhere—all reputable companies. If you click on a product on this site that you wish to purchase, you will be taken to one of their websites to complete your transaction. As an affiliate, I will get a small commission from your sale; but, your purchase will be made directly from them, and their policies regarding shipping, warranties, returns, and so on will apply. My receiving commission as an affiliate does not raise the cost of the items listed on this site. In example, if a medicine ball fulfilled by Amazon is listed at $20 on this site, you could go directly to Amazon and find the same medicine ball for $20.

Selecting High Quality Items at a Good Price: As an affiliate, I have access to the hundreds of thousands of items in Amazon’s, BeachBody’s, Dragon Door’s, and Fitness Anywhere’s collective inventory. Given the breadth of product choice, there are generally multiple stratum of “quality” within a given category and price point. I meticulously vet the items I choose to list, ensuring I find items in the highest strata possible. I pay particular attention to user reviews, comments in social media, price, etc. I will never sell anything that I would not buy and use myself. In fact in many cases I have personal experience with the items I sell.

Finding Cool, Unusual Items: I love items that are functional, but that skirt the edge of mainstream. I would probably buy a Panini press for making toast instead of a toaster if the price was right. Accordingly, as much as is possible I try to list items that are useful, but “different.” Furthermore, I rotate items weekly in the Books, Clothing, Equipment, and Media categories to keep things fresh.

I invite you to explore the “Buy” categories on this site. If you have any questions, please email me at buy@fitnessverve.com. Click on one of the link buttons below; or, use the submenu that appears when you hover over this page’s tab. Your business is helpful, and greatly appreciated!
